Founded in Hong Kong in early 2017, Respond.io is a Business Messaging platform that unifies customer communication for tech-saavy organization that market, sell and support across instant messaging, web chat and email. We are one messaging platform for various use case like marketing purposes, sales, support and engineering.

Role Description

At Respond.io, UX Researcher is pivotal to our company’s success. We are seeking a detailed-oriented individual that is ready to be part of our Product Department in charge of understanding our user’s behaviors, needs and motivation to define and drive the future of our product. The ideal candidate will ensure that our product meets the expectations of customers resulting in a positive and effective user experience, while also aligning with the objectives and goals of the business.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct user research studies by meeting customers and use various methods to gather information about their experience with our product
Analyze data gathered and compile finished, well-documented research findings
Advocate research findings and deliver meaningful and actionable insights to internal stakeholders
Involved in sketching, prototyping, and user testing with Product Department before passing the design on to Tech Department
Be the voice of the user, alongside the Product Managers, ensuring that our product solves customers’ problems
Working collaboratively across a few teams - Customer and Tech to ensure that our product is designed to meet the needs of our users

Qualifications

Two till three years experience as a UX Researcher in a SaaS or tech-enabled organization
Experience in key UX processes and conducting usability testing
Proven competency in data analytics and qualitative aspects of UX research
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
Knowledge in technical products is highly advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing
Nimble and agile team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
