Role Description

At Respond.io, the HR department is pivotal to our company’s success. Like other departments, this team is crucial to partner up with the business as we build a people-centric business. We are seeking a detailed-oriented individual that is ready to be part of the team in charge of handling administration matters. Your role will focus on handling visa for expats, office management, and point of contact for project-basis stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • You will be handling all statutory, visa & immigration matters which includes dealing with certain authoritative bodies (MDEC, Embassy, etc.)
  • You will work closely with selected agents and staffing vendors to manage visa application (MDEC) for expat management
  • You will be managing employment contracts and letters (verification letters, bank letters, warning letters, etc.)
  • You will be responsible in office management matters and point of contact with external vendors, building management, or other project-basis stakeholders
  • You will be responsible in handling visitors, candidates or any registered guest under our company
  • You will facilitate with People & Culture team members to manage an effective new hire onboarding, employee information and maintenance of important documents

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in HR or people coordination
  • Experienced in Visa management and managing expat is a must (MDEC, ESD, etc.)
  • Experienced with statutory matters (Perkeso, HRDF claims, etc.)
  • Experienced with office management
  • Experienced of working with embassy
  • Good interpersonal skills to manage and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Good communication skills in English with an ability to clearly explain complex ideas verbally and in writing;
  • Nimble and agile team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
